God's message for me today

Sometimes, I will lead you into a storm. Because storms are good. Storms shake you. And shaking is good. Shaking takes away your pride. Shaking takes away your complacency.

The past week was again so tough for me emotionally and mentally. I thank God that He never gives up on me and He always shows me how to pick up the pieces and start all over again. Last Sunday, I realized some things and God revealed to me how I should handle my life and I guess, it is working well for me.
When people around me notice something good in me, I thank God for giving me the strength to face life with hope and optimism amidst my trial. Every smile, every happy feeling, every blessing comes from God and I will never be able to move on without His loving presence in my life.
My purpose is for people to see how God works in my life, whether they know my struggle or not. I want them to see how good our God is. God is good, all the time!
Thank you Lord for everything! I am nothing without You!
Lunch Date on Hearts' Day
Yesterday, my friends(officemates) had lunch to celebrate Hearts Day. Though it was quite ironic because all the food (Barbeque, Sisig, Pork and Chicken Lechon) were not good for the heart! ;p
Thanks to Cris who initiated the email and suggested that we have lunch for this occasion. I volunteered to bring a cake. Nicki suggested to have the gelato cake from Caramia (Amici), I ordered Merry Berries, it was so yummy!! ;)

By the way, when I picked up the cake in our receiving area, there was a rose that went with the cake(a freebie from the delivery)! Atleast I "received" a flower on Hearts Day! ;)
